The Creative Mind
Adrian Guevara works diligently on a project for one of his media production courses at Texas A&M University - Corpus Christi in Corpus Christi, Texas on Feb. 11, 2019.  Guevara hopes to one day be a writer in Hollywood for TV and film.  He plans on beginning at a more local level here in Texas to build his resume then move up from there.  "One of my goals is to write a feature length film for the f*ck of it. To challenge myself," he said.

Taking a Break

Once done with college she hopes to become a reporter in the political field in a larger market such as Austin or Houston, Texas.  "If the opportunity presents itself, however, I would be willing to move up to a larger national organization," she said.

  Catching Up With Good Friends

She wants to help market for people.  After the semester, however, she plans to move to Las Vegas with her boyfriend.  "He plays poker for a living," she stated.

Hard at Work
Jasmine Chavez, senior, is emailing one of her professors in between working on assignments at Texas A&M University - Corpus Christi in Corpus Christi, Texas on Feb. 11, 2019.  She is currently in pursuit of a bachelor’s degree in biology with an emphasis in marine biology. After school she hopes to find a career with the Texas State Aquarium in the animal care department.  "Ultimately, however, the dream is to work with OCearch and assist with their shark research programs," she stated.

Good Meeting
Arianna Aloia is talking with some friends right after her meeting with the Islander Film Society has concluded at Texas A&M Universtiy - Corpus Christi in Corpus Christi, Texas on Feb. 12, 2019.  Aloia is a media production major at the school.  She hopes to one day make a living making music videos and movies, preferably here in Texas.  One of her favorite experiences thus far in her young film making career was shooting her first wedding recently.  "It was really scary, but a great experience overall," she said. 

Lunch Time
Miguel Gutierrez, a junior, is finishing up lunch and talking with some friends at Texas A&M University - Corpus Christi in Corpus Christi, Texas on Feb. 19, 2019.  Gutierrez is an English major and hopes to attend law school once he graduates.  He wants to pursue a career as a trial lawyer in either San Antonio or Austin, Texas.  In the long term, although, he has contemplated moving into politics.  "My fallback, however, is cowboy work. Just gonna be a goddamn cowboy," he stated jokingly.

Neighbors
Warren Leone, left, and his neighbor Kody Mircovich are catching up in their free time in Corpus Christi, Texas on Feb. 20, 2019.  Leone is a student with Texas A&M University - Corpus Christi working on his bachelor's in accounting and plans on pursuing a master's in finance later.  After school he hopes to establish a successful career in the business field.  Later in life he may transition into a career of investing.  "It all just depends on where the opportunity is, that's where I'll end up," Leone said.

No Days Off
Lucas Risner, an Environmental Chemistry major, is studying for one of his many classes at Texas A&M University - Corpus Christi in Corpus Christi, Texas on Feb. 20, 2019.  Risner is working for his degree and hopes to use that to join an emergency response team somewhere down the line. "They are the guys who wear the hazmat suits," he pointed out.  From there he hopes to work his way up to the head of a safety department at any given company.

On The Move
Raven Jones, right, is a graphic design major at Texas A&M University - Corpus Christi in Corpus Christi, Texas on Feb. 20, 2019.  She sees herself becoming a freelance creator and hopes to make music videos one day.  Jones would like to base herself in California or Atlanta, Georgia.  Jones did mention, however, that she is looking at a much "crazier" dream down the road if possible.  "The big dream would be to go to the Olympics one day as a swimmer.  I'm already going to the 2020 Olympics in Japan to watch," Jones said. 

Movie Magic
Alex Bardin, a senior, is hard at work on one of his projects focusing on Adobe After Effects at Texas A&M University - Corpus Christi in Corpus Christi, Texas on Feb. 20, 2019.  Bardin plans on moving to Dallas, Texas once he graduates in May to pursue his monster truck driving career full time.  He will also work at the Texas Motor Speedway in the production department during the off season.  "Later in my career I hope to be employed by Feld Entertainment as a driver.  They're the top tier of monster truck driving," he mentioned.

Spring Cleaning
Andrew Windham is hard at work keeping his aquariums in pristine condition in Corpus Christi, Texas on Feb. 20, 2019.  Windham is currently studying marine biology at Texas A&M University - Corpus Christi.  He hopes to use his knowledge to own an educational and interactive aquatic pet store.  "I want to educate as many people as I can and get them excited about aquatic science through the creation of beautiful aquariums," Windham said.

Study Break
Eduardo De Leon, a mechanical engineering technology major, is taking some time to hang with friends in his down time in Corpus Christi, Texas on Feb. 20, 2019.  He wants to pursue a career that allows him to work on aircraft or spacecraft.  His crazy dream is to be able to go to Mars.  But he mentioned that he won't be holding his breath for that to happen.  "I want to be a part of the space travel and exploration wave with NASA or SpaceX for example," he had stated.

Game Time
Colin O'Donnell, left, is playing video games with his friend Eduardo De Leon in their down time in Corpus Christi, Texas on Feb. 20, 2019.  He is a marine biology student pursuing a career in marine microbial studies.  "I want to use microbes to change the world, the unsung heroes," he said.  His goal is to use this science to eliminate plastic waste.  O'Donnell's dream job, also, would be to take micro biome samples of orca whales.
